I was very sad to learn that Michael had died. You probably know that he played in our golf group at Dewlands, Rotherfield, for some years and we call ourselves the GoDS (Gentlemen of Dewlands Society). I have taken the liberty of sending your message on to all the group and it may well be that some may wish to attend the Mass &/or the wake if that would be in order. We are having a collection & will be making a group donation to the hospice. My wife & I saw Michael perform at Trinity on a number of occasions (and at Hever Castle) and he clearly relished his acting opportunities. Even on the golf course there was a touch of the thespian about him! We will be in the U.S. at the time of the funeral and therefore will not be able to join you but we are sure there will be a fitting celebration of Michael’s life.
